The Insider is reporting that Britney Spears and Mel Gibson are together again and are headed to Costa Rica on vacation.

They were spotted leaving on a private plane to Central America at 9:05 am this morning and will be returning some time next week. Sources say that Mel is taking Britney and her dad on a mini-vacation to Mel’s house in Costa Rica.

“Mel and his wife Robin clearly saw a woman in crisis and wanted to extend themselves in any way possible,” a source said.

They used to be neighbors when the singer lived in Malibu.

“There are no expectations, there is no agenda,” the source said. “This is simply an act of human kindness. One neighbor reaching out to the other.”

A construction worker’s body was found hanging inside a house owned by Mel Gibson.

LA County Sheriff’s Department, Det. Eddie Brown, told E! News that the department had received a 911 call at 8:09 a.m. alerting authorities to a man hanging from the rafter of a house on Sierra Creek Road in Agoura Hills.

“Detectives along with paramedics arrived at the scene and the gentleman was pronounced dead on arrival. Cause of death will be determined by the Los Angeles Coroner’s office,” Brown said.

L.A. Country Sheriff’s spokesman, Steve Whitmore, told PageSix.com it was “a 48-year-old white male,” who was “inside one of two structures under construction” on the Sierra Creek Road property.

Mel Gibson’s family has yet to live in the house due to all the heavy construction.

Britney Spears and Mel Gibson were caught dinning at Romanov Restaurant and Lounge on Ventura Blvd for two hours.

What could this unlikely pair be talking about? According to Ok! the only explanation for this meeting was to talk about L.A. attorney Blair Berk, who not only counts Jamie Spears as a client but also is the man who got Mel Gibson out of hot legal water with his 2006 DUI arrest. Berk has a hand in the restraining order against Sam Lutfi, which will be discussed in court today.

Mel could also be trying to give Britney some good advice on how to handle the negative press that keeps coming her way. We all remember Mel Gibson’s embarrassing arrest two years ago that made TMZ infamous. “He understands what she’s going through,” explains the source. “And he certainly has advice on how to not let it destroy your life.”

I hope that this meeting did Britney Spears some good because the girl definitely has been hit with some really bad media of which the paparazzi is partly responsible for; cuz, when you’ve got cameras up in your face all the time, you’re bound to do something stupid.
