Less than one week after rumors of an engagement, Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson have decided to call it quits.

A friend of Owen’s stated:

It was a pretty bad break up. Owen said it was a tough one. He definitely doesn’t want to dwell on it. He wants to put it behind him.

Hopefully Wilson is able to let Hudson go this time. We don’t want anymore suicide attempts.

Kate on the other hand will most likely walk away from the relationship hurt, but with dignity. A source close to Hudson said, “She feels so dumb thinking it was so serious.”

So sad. They made such a cute couple. I was really hoping that their relationship would last this time.

Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson are getting Married!!

Kate Hudson was seen wearing what appears to be a huge engagement ring earlier this week and a source close to the family said that Owen Wilson is the man that gave it to her. Apparently Owen proposed to Kate last week in Miami. The source states that,

Owen picked out the ring and went for the biggest one he could find. He was nervous about proposing but Kate was thrilled and the whole thing was really emotional.

Kate and Owen began dating in 2006,  after co-starring together in You, Me, and Dupre, and although they appeared to be a happy couple they decided to call it quits in June 2007. It was rumored that the break up was too much for Owen and just one month later he attempted suicide. Even though they were not together at the time Kate gave him some much needed support. The couple rekindled their love and began seeing each other again in March 2008.

A source close to Kate said, ” Kate supported Owen during his low patch and that proved to him she’s the women he wants to be with forever.”

Reps for both Kate and Owen have not yet confirmed the engagement.

I hope that their relationship lasts this time, they make such a cute couple.

As rumors of a romance between Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson surface, I have to ask where is Kate Hudson? Less than one month ago the couple was reported to have rekindled their relationship and were inseparable over the February 24th Oscar weekend. Just
one week after their inseparable weekend, Owen is photographed “cozying up” to Jennifer Aniston and one crew member has stated, “The hugging didn’t end whenthe cameras stopped rolling. They were very flirty together, far more than you would expect. In between takes they were hanging onto each other. They were very friendly.”

Shame on you Jennifer. You of all people should know what it feels like to have your man stolen by a costar. Then again they are probably just friends. Thats what everyone said about Brad and Angie.

Owen Wilson was reportedly struggling with depression and hooked on heroin and cocaine, and it was his drug addiction that caused his breakup with Kate Hudson. And who's to blame for all this? Apparently some British guy named Steve Coogan. The New York Post reports:

"I went through it with Steve," Coogan's former girlfriend, rocker Courtney Love, told US.

"I was just out of rehab, and he was right there with the drugs. I tried to warn Owen. I tried to warn his friends. I hope from the bottom of my heart that Owen stays the hell away from that guy."

Wilson's addiction was so severe, his pal Woody Harrelson tried to stage an intervention at his home in Maui.

"Owen went to Maui, Hawaii, to kick his habit," a longtime Wilson pal told the mag. "He was like a baby on that couch."

The friend said that heroin was the first thing that came to mind when Wilson and Hudson split and he suddenly "disappeared off the face of the earth."

"I thought, briefly, he might be back on heroin, but we all really felt he'd kicked that ages ago," his friend said.

It's bad enough this Steve Coogan guy basically made Owen Wilson want to kill himself, but you seriously have to reexamine your life if Courtney Love calls you a bad influence. I saw her make out with a hypodermic needles once and the only complaint she had was that it was "kind of pokey."

Owen Wilson reportedly attempted suicide at his Los Angeles home

Hollywood actor Owen Wilson is being treated for a suspected suicide attempt, according to reports out of the US.

The Wedding Crashers star allegedly cut his wrists after swallowing a number of pills at his Los Angeles home.

The National Enquirer editor-in-chief David Perel told gossip website PerezHilton.com: “Owen Wilson has now been transferred from St. John's to another Los Angeles area hospital. His brothers Andrew and Luke are with him.

His parents were also seen visiting Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Sunday night.

Perel added: “Andrew found him after the suicide attempt and called an ambulance. Both of Owen's wrists were slashed superficially and Owen had taken an overdose of pills.

“Owen was found with a nearly empty bottle of pills next to him. He was at his house in Santa Monica.”

Website TMZ released a statement from Santa Monica Police which reportedly detailed the emergency call.

Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson split in June

It read: "On Sunday Aug. 26. 2007 at 12.10pm officers from the Santa Monica Police Department responded to a medical assistance call from the Santa Monica Fire Department at the 900 block of 23rd Street.

"The person was transported to a local hospital where they are being treated."

The comedian, who is known as the Butterscotch Stallion for his charming way with women, is famed for his blockbuster roles in Zoolander, Meet the Parents and Starsky and Hutch.

The comedian in his 2006 hit You, Me and Dupree

The actor was once romantically linked to singer Sheryl Crow and split from his You, Me and Dupree costar Kate Hudson in June.

Wilson, who is currently working on the comedy Tropic Thunder with pal Ben Stiller, is now said to be in a stable condition.

His spokesperson is yet to comment on the reports.
