It’s true kiddies, your favorite May December relationship has ended. Holly Madison and Hugh Hefner have called it quits. This shocking news comes straight from the whores horse’s mouth, Holly Madison was chatting with the paps when she dropped the bomb, saying that she is living in her own condo.

“If Holly says it’s over, I guess it’s over,” Hefner said in a telephone interview Wednesday. “She’s still here in the house. Until a few days ago, we were still sharing the same bed.”

Hef is said to be “down in the dumps” over the break up. I am sure he will get over it quickly.  He’s already got the new 19-year-old twin girlfriends Karissa and Kristina Shannon coming in, and it’s not like there aren’t a ton of pretty young gold diggers lined up at the mansion gates… “plenty of fish in the sea,” so to speak.

Hef is surprised at the news, but figured it was coming as Holly has been bugging the Playboy mogul to marry and reproduce with her for some time. She finally pinned him down and he said no. Dude, the guy is like 82. I think he is done with the whole marriage and kids thing.

Hef said that when Holly learned six months ago that they would never have children or get married adding:

“The fact that she was depressed after that, I didn’t know at all. That was a revelation in the last days and weeks. Quite frankly, we thought when the time came, we would make a combined statement and we expected that combined statement would be somewhere in the weeks and months ahead.”

Oh, amour. C’est difficile. Oui?

Mr. Hefner is looking on the bright side of things now, saying that

“It’s now apparent there will be some new faces in my personal life and on the show,” he said. “There’s been moments that I’ve been down in the dumps about all this, and (personal assistant) Mary (O’Connor) told me to cheer up and pointed out that there are girls lined up outside the front gate. At my age, that’s hard to believe, but it seems to be true.”

What is to become of the other two girlfriends Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson you ask? Kendra is also leaving, and my guess is that Bridget will soon be out, too. Marquardt is in Europe filming the new Travel Channel series “Bridget’s Beaches.” Hefner said E! is interested in spin-offs with all three women.

As for the original show The Girls Next Door, which is currently filming the 6th season, Hef says the cameras will continue to roll. He plans to seek new girls to live with him.
