Check out the pictures from the 2008 Teen Choice Awards red carpet.
My pick for best dressed is Hayden Panettiere and worst dressed would have to be Brenda Song. Who do you think are the best and worst dressed?

On Monday, June 23rd, Shane Sparks–renown hip hop choreographer and celeb judge for FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance and MTV’s America’s Next Dance Crew–celebrated his birthday in style at Falcon Restaurant in Hollywood.
Guests included Shane’s gorgeous girlfriend, Francia Raisa (The Secret Life of the American Teenager), Kel Mitchell (Keenan & Kel), Lil Mama, Layla Kayleigh, The Jabbawockeez (Winners of the first season of America’s Best Dance Crew) and DJ Goldfingers.
We were impressed with the venue’s chill and classy ambiance, but the crowd quickly brought the energy way up when the dancing began. As you may expect at a choreographer’s birthday, the place was packed with amazing talent. So much so that it made it a bit intimidating to get out on the dance floor.
Watch some of the fun inside the club…

French fashion house, Christian Dior, has dropped Sharon Stone from it’s Chinese advertisements since the comment she made on the Cannes red carpet last week. To recap: she insinuated that China’s recent earthquake, which killed approximately 68,000 people, was due to karma for it’s treatment of Tibet.
Stone said on the red carpet:
“I’m not happy about the way the Chinese are treating the Tibetans because I don’t think anyone should be unkind to anyone else. And then this earthquake and all this stuff happened, and then I thought, is that karma? When you’re not nice that the bad things happen to you?”
Stone has recently issued an apology stating:
“Due to my inappropriate words and acts during the interview, I feel deeply sorry and sad about hurting Chinese people,” the actress said in the statement. “I am willing to take part in the relief work of China’s earthquake, and wholly devote myself to helping affected Chinese people.”
Stupid woman. Was hurricane Katrina karma too? Although I believe in karma to some extent, there are times when you just have to blame it on Mother Nature.

The stars were shining all night as the widely anticipated premiere of Kung Fu Panda took center stage at Cannes. It was an evening of fun and beauty as Hollywood’s most beloved came out to celebrate and kick some fashion butt. Yet, while some celebs took it as an opportunity to show how beauty doesn’t have a weight limit, others used it as an excuse to air out their Halloween costumes and fashion line rejects.
Here’s the list of the top six Best and Worst Dressed Celebrities:
1) Beads and sequins definitely have a place in fashion, but not in the train-wreck Madonna’s donning. I compliment her courage but maybe she should stop trying to be fashion avant garde and just be fashion-able. Aishwarya Rai could give her some tips–the stunning woman knows both beauty and fashion.
2) Star Jones should know there’s a difference between chic and ugly. Angelina Jolie looks like a Greek goddess, compared to Star’s broken tie-dye machine catastrophe. Star needs to learn to be eye catching, not blinding.
3) Some one needs to tell Model Linda Evangelista that this isn’t 1970. No longer does the most sequins denote the most glamorous. Take a page from Goldie Hawn’s book. She defines Hollywood glamor in this outfit, complete with starlet sunglasses. She looks like she was born from Hollywood while Linda’s gold monstrosity looks like a cheap forever 21 knock-off.
4) Over the top doesn’t mean ugly. Before I ask what she was thinking, I have to ask who the heck she is!?! Phoebe Price really needs to never step out of the house until she consults Eva Longoria. Eva looks like she’s ready for the ball, a true fashionista who isn’t afraid to go bold. Extravagant yes. But gorgeous, hell yes! I think the reality show reject, Phoebe, just wanted to get as much press as she could because her 15 minutes of fame are counting down fast.
5) Less isn’t always more. I think former supermodel Eva Herzidova left part of her dress at home. Did the designer run out of cloth? It’s sad because this dress has such possibility, but now it just looks unfinished. If she wanted elegance, maybe she should have called Penelope Cruise. Her dress looks like she was made for Hollywood.
6) Birds of a feather do not flock together. Why did Julianne Moore feel that her dress needed feathers? It looks like she got cold, so she killed a bird and threw it over her shoulders. Take a note out of Cate Blanchett’s book: simple and beautiful.

Last night we had the whole Hollywire crew out at Boulevard 3 for Claudia Jordan’s 35th Birthday Bash–and let me tell you what a bash it was–this party was off the hook. Claudia Jordan is Briefcase Girl #1 on Deal or No Deal and was previously a Barker’s Beauty on The Price is Right.
She had stunningly beautiful guests rolling in all night long–just think, all the Briefcase Girls! But, some of the guest highlights had to be Kim Kardashian of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Director Spike Lee, and Tennessee Titan Quarterback, Vince Young…just to name a few.
My personal highlight of the evening was watching one of our writers have a dance-off with with Efren Ramirez–’Pedro’ from Napoleon Dynamite–he has got to be one of the most genuinely nicest people you could ever meet at a nightclub–he was just so much fun. You all remember John Heder, Napoleon, dancing his bootie off in Napoleon Dynamite? Seriously, Efren has got some unbelievably mad-cat-dance skills that could rival those of Heder. I wish I had video to share with you, but unfortunately, you’ll just have to use your imagination on this one.
Update: So, it was not Efren Ramirez that one of the HollyWire Girls was dancing with–it turns out it was his twin brother Carlos! But, we’ve heard that Efren is as equally nice and charming as his bro, Carlos! Sorry for the mistake.
Speaking of dancing, Claudia Jordan was thoroughly enjoying herself out on the dance floor as well and it was just awesome to see her having such a great time at her party. She, also, was super friendly and, of course, absolutely gorgeous. She kept shouting, “I’m 35!” –Clearly celebrating it and not lamenting it! Poor Claudia somehow ended up with cake on her face–likely someone having just a bit too much fun with her–and had to clean her self up before getting back out on the dance floor…but it was all good.
Rounding out her guests of the evening were , Ken Davitian of Borat, Omarosa of Celebrity Apprentice, Jamie Foxxworth of Celebrity Rehab, Dwight Freeney of the Indianapolis Colts, Shaun Phillips of the San Diego Chargers, America’s Next Top Model/Deal or No Deal Girl Katie Cleary, Michael Copon of One Tree Hill, writer/producer Chudney Ross–Diana Ross’ daughter…..oh, the list could go on and on and on….so just watch the video that’ll be up tomorrow!
Oh, as a side note: Omarosa photographs horribly! She actually looks a lot prettier in person than I’ve ever seen her in pics or on TV. Oh, and her boobs, ENORMOUS! Like, geeeezzz, cover those girls up a bit!
Here’s a couple of behind the scenes photos of the Hollywire crew hard at work at Boulevard 3…one of our Hollywire Girls loved Johnny V. from Scott Baio is 45 and Pregnant; she said he was the nicest guy in the world, completely opposite of his character on the show. Perhaps he swayed her over with his adoring words to her, “Your smile lights up the room…” Um, ya, that’ll make any girl think you’re the nicest guy in the world!
Travis with Kim Kardashian

Hollywire girls on the scene…
Overall, it was a great night….can’t wait for our next event!

Hollywire was on the Red Carpet at the Danity Kane, “Welcome to the Dollhouse,” album release party at Opera in Hollywood last night. The album was just released last week and with sales grossing over 236,000 copies in the first few days the album instantly skyrocketed into the 2nd biggest opening of the year (only behind Jack Johnson’s “Sleep Through the Static”).
A lot of celebs were in attendance–the biggest to make an appearance was Kanye West–he, however, came after the Red Carpet had been dismantled…booo…no photo op there… But, he was escorted in by Alex Quinn (& bodyguards in tow of course) straight to the VIP area whereupon he greeted Christina Milian with a friendly hug & a little chit-chat like conversation.
Christina Milian had made it to the event while the Red Carpet was in full swing and while she posed for a few photos, she didn’t stop long enough to talk on camera–she practically ran through the Red Carpet area. I guess she really needed that drink!

Another semi-celeb that breezed through at lightening speed was Brody Jenner–he didn’t even stop for photos…but he made an impact at Opera in his own way. You see, while I was in the women’s restroom, 4 girls were excitedly talking about how they had met Brody and it was enough to convince one girl that partying in LA was totally worth the drive, “Oh my god! You were totally right…I can’t believe we met Brody…I’d drive up for this again!” Blah… blah… blah…. etc… etc… etc… [insert girl giggling & exclamations of excitement here].
Here’s an old Red Carpet photo of Jenner (just for your viewing pleasure)…
Now, do you want to know who we didn’t see on the Red Carpet? Danity Kane…yep, didn’t see Danity Kane at all–we saw their limo pull up & not one person got out of the limo. Instead the driver said he had to pull around again to get closer to the entrance–uh, okay–I guess 5 feet from the curb isn’t close enough. Anyhow, next thing we know, the DK girls were then inside the club–completely bypassing the Red Carpet for their own release party.
Apparently someone with the DK crew didn’t think the front entrance was secure enough (there was a mob outside and the line to get in went waaaaaaaaaaay down the street), so the driver drove them around to the back entrance and they snuck in without any photo ops for the media…another boo….that’s so not in the spirit of a release party.
Rumor has it that one of the DK girls just recently turned 21 years old and this was also on their celebration agenda for the evening…therefore, sources close to the band speculated that the girls may have been a bit too inebriated for the Red Carpet entrance–better to sneak into a dark club than go through the blaring lights when your looking a bit trashed. This has not been confirmed by their publicist, but really, who doesn’t give the media a photo op at their own release party–that is why we’re all there ya know!
And lastly, also absent from the event was Sean “Diddy” Combs… I thought he just might show to support the girls on his label, “Bad Boys Records,” but nope, I was wrong.
Watch the video (coming Monday) to see who else was in attendance!
