After months of playing coy (sort of), Lindsay Lohan finally admitted that her and Sam Ronson are a couple. Big surprise!

Lindsay’s public recognition of the relationship is the last piece to seal the deal of what everyone already knew. The rumors began when the two were seen spending so much time together, and were fueled by the multiple pictures and reports that popped up demonstrating the couple’s affectionate ways. The two even started doing joint blogs or individual blogs about the same subject and posted around the same times.

But the official announcement came when DJ Stryker from Loveline asked the two how long they have been together, and Lindsay responded with, “A very long time.” We know! We just were waiting for you to come out with it.

The pair had been on the show talking about the plane crash involving DJ AM and Travis Barker when things turned to the romantic. After Lindsay commented on their relationship in length, DJ Stryker said, “I hope you guys stay together, you’re a very lovely looking couple,” which Lindsay followed with a simple, “Thank you very much.”

After all of Lindsay’s rehab, family, and work drama, this relationship has seemed to be the most low-key side we have seen of the young actress. It’s nice to see a softer side of L.L., instead of the hard partying, wild antics that used to surround herself with. Will this relationship last longer than her others? We’ll see!

In the meantime, what do you think their couple name should be? LoRon? HanSon? SamSay? The possibilities are endless.

my good friend adam (dj am) was in a plane crash last night, he was lucky to survive but is still in the hospital being treated for burns (so i read). i don’t really know what to say, it’s such horrifying news, but i was hoping you guys would please send him your best wishes/prayers because I don’t really know what else to do. also for travis barker, who was on the plane. four other people were on the plane and did not survive, i can’t even imagine the pain their families must be in. soooooo sad and i’m so sorry.

LiLo held a party for the Toronto International Film Festival last night, Friday, September 12th.

Ronson was taking care of deejay business, while Lindsay hosted a party at Ultra Supper Club, dressed in her recently signature look - a sheer grey top and black leggings.  In case you didn’t already know, Lindsay’s got a new line of leggings out on the market; some flashy and some complete with knee pads.

Hmm, I wonder if one night while getting low at the clubs, Lindsay thought to herself, “Ouch… I could get even lower and dirtier if I only had knee pads.”

Anyway, she’s still denying rumors that she is engaged to Ronson, even though she was sporting huge heart-shaped diamond ring on THE finger.  A rep for Lohan claims, “She bought it herself.  It’s an antique ring that she found at an antique store in NYC.”

Regardless, with all the time they spend together and public displays of affection, it’s no secret that the two are a very close and serious couple. In fact, according to the Daily Star earlier this week, Ronson told a crowd at a party in Los Angeles she was deejaying, “By the end of this year, my love will be Mrs Ronson.”

Last night, Lindsay Lohan celebrated her girlfriend’s, Sam Ronson’s, 31st birthday with her in West Hollywood.

Lohan was really excited about Ronson’s big day and planned an amazing party at Matsuhisa sushi restaurant.

Party-goers enjoyed balloons, ice cream (courtesy of a genuine ice cream truck), and party favors.

Among the guests was Nicole Richie, who looked lovely in a white blouse teamed with a high-waisted black skirt complete with black strappy gladiator-style heels.

News of the World is reporting that Dina Lohan is planning a wedding for her daughter and Samantha Ronson. Something that started out as just a fling… has apparently turned into something more serious.

“Dina is still working on the date of the party but it’s looking like towards the end of the year. Lindsay’s new album Spirit In The Dark is out in November, so (the wedding could be held) around then. They’ve been keeping the relationship quiet for months and trying to pass each other off as ‘just good friends’. But they’ve decided it isn’t a fling - it’s for life - so they want to make their romance public.”

The paper also claims that Samantha will wear a groom’s costume with top hat at the couple’s wedding. I wouldn’t expect her to wear anything else.

Yeah, not quite sure what I think of this rumor. I don’t believe that Lindsay, after only few months of dating a girl, would jump into such a life long commitment. I hope the girl has more common since than that.

But she has many people speculating since recently she was spotted at a Dolce & Gabbana party in Cannes with a ring on her engagement finger.

Lindsay Lohan has confirmed that Sam Ronson is her girlfriend.

Last night, Lindsay Lohan and Sam Ronson were partying at the Ultimate White Party at the Shrine nightclub inside MGM Grand’s Foxwoods, and when it was Sam’s turn at the DJ booth, Lindsay took over the announcing duties. An eyewitness told OK! Magazine that, “When the lights came out, she announced Sam and said, ‘And no she’s not single.’”

Later that night, Lohan was heard protesting, “My girlfriend won’t play my songs!”

So there you have it, Lindsay has officially called Sam her girlfriend. What a surprise. Even with all the pictures of them together, I would have never guessed they were a couple. Yeah, right! Come on Lindsay, just release an official public statement already.

According to an insider Sam Ronson gave Lindsay Lohan a Cartier diamond ring worth $22,000 for her birthday.

Britain’s Daily Mirror is reporting that a source told them,

‘Sam took Lindsay shopping as part of her birthday present. Although Lindsay is the major breadwinner, Sam has her own money and is very proud. It’s not an engagement ring–simply a token of her commitment. Lindsay is thrilled and she and Sam are content.’

So are they trying to say it’s a promise ring? Last time I checked an engagement ring and a commitment ring were the same thing. Anyway, I am sure that the ring will be a nice replacement for Lindsay’s tacky SR ring.

Lindsay Lohan, on her birthday, finally confessed to the world that she and Sam Ronson are a couple.

Lindsay and Sam have tried to play down their friendship with the help of Lindsay’s family.  But since pictures are worth a thousand words, the ones of the two holding hands, cuddling and kissing seem to say that the two were definitely an item.   And finally our suspicions have been confirmed.

Talking about her special someone Sam, Lindsay said: “I just wanna live a happy, healthy year, continue on the path that I’ve been on and be with the person that I care about.  And my family.”

It seems that Sam feels the same way because she posted a picture of her and Lindsay kissing on her MySpace page.

A pal said: “Sam and Lindsay are inseparable. Sam has been a really good influence on Lindsay.

“There is no one else special in Lindsay’s life apart from Sam but it has taken her a while to feel like she can talk about their relationship.

“Lindsay hasn’t dated any men since she started hanging around with Sam, and there has hardly been a day in the last two months when they have been apart.

“They have been shacked up in Lindsay’s place and they spend weekends like a married couple going to the supermarket together.

“It’s really sweet that Lindsay has found someone she can rely on and trust.”

Now that Lindsay’s personal life has been settled, Lindsay will be heading back into the studio this month to work on her new album.

It is rumored that Sam’s friend Lilly Allen will be helping Lindsay to try to make her the next Rihanna.

Lindsay said: “Lily’s a very sweet girl.”

“Working together would actually be really fun… I would love to.”

“I’m going into the studio for real in August, but I’m still waiting on tracks. I’m very picky.”

“And it’s a different style of music for me. It’s more urban and dance, you know. It’s more Rihanna-esque, which I haven’t really ever done.”

“I’m tapping into a new vibe. So I really wanna be careful about what I do.”

Pharrell Williams, Akon, Ne-Yo and Snoop Dogg are all rumored to be working on tracks for Lindsay.

Ok! Have you all heard her latest track Bossy?  If you haven’t you’re lucky, if you have you know the girl has a lot of work to do before she can call her music decent.  Lets cross our fingers that these boys do help Lindsay out cuz with them backing you, you can’t go wrong.
