Hollywoodlife.com met up with Maksim at the opening of Hollywood nightclub Drai’s on March 15th, and when asked if he and Erin were a couple, Maksim replied, “Maybe!”
As for Erin, she’s delighted to be paired up with Maksim, saying,
I think its funny when you are paired up with a really attractive guy. You turn into a fifteen year-old and don’t know what to do. He makes me nervous.
Erin actually wanted Maksim for a partner since the very beginning and said,
[Maksim] is who I wanted to be with, he’s the best!
As for Maksim, the feeling is mutual,
I lucked out with Erin, she is great at everything! I try and channel all of her energy, sex appeal, and pizzazz.
Just one day after the news broke that Jesse James was cheating on Sandra Bullock with Michelle “Bombshell,” he was spotted dropping his kids off at school, still sporting his wedding ring!

Michelle “Bombshell” is a stripper at a San Diego gentleman’s club called Pure Platinum. The manager of the strip club has come forward, in an effort to draw attention to his night spot. In the interview with Crushable.com, the manager calls Michelle “a good girl” and “one of a kind.”
The manager also said that Michelle dances under the name Avery, but would not confirm how long she has worked there. Another source says it hasn’t been very long.
Do you think Jesse’s apology was enough, or should Sandra stay away?
Just one day after allegations that Jesse James cheated on Academy Award winner Sandra Bullock, James makes an apology. Though it didn’t sound like he admitted to any infidelity, the quick apology sure makes you wonder.
In a statement he gave to Access Hollywood,James had this to say:
There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It’s because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way. This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them. I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them. I hope one day they can find it in their hearts to forgive me.
Kristen Stewart talked with Parade.com recently to discuss details aboutmaking The Runaways, which also stars her Twilight co-star Dakota Fanning. The girls play Joan Jett (Stewart) and Cherie Curry (Fanning) from the all-girl band The Runaways.

Stewart had this to say about imitating a rock icon like Joan Jett:
I think my generation doesn’t really know what The Runaways was. I didn’t, even though I was aware of Joan Jett. She’s a legend, so it was a big deal not only to meet her, but to have her on the set. The main thing that Joan talked about was just how much she cared about that period of her life because it jump-started her entire career. The Runaways was one of the first all-girl bands, so it’s an incredibly triumphant, feminist story. Joan became my friend and I was thinking about all she stood for and going, ‘Oh God, now I have to do her justice.

Kristen and Dakota both used their own vocals (watch them sing “Cherry Bomb”) for the film and its soundtrack. Stewart practiced a lot just to make sure she sounded as close to Joan Jett as she could get.
I was really concerned about getting the music right because The Runaways have a very distinctive sound. It’s not just singing, it’s trying to sound like them. I wasn’t lip-synching. I worked hard to get like that growl that Joan does when she’s performing. I’m not saying that I did it perfectly, but I gave it my best. And I learned to play the guitar because I didn’t want to fake it
It was cool. I didn’t mind it. The way that it happens in the script is so just a sort of moment in time and fun and natural and sort of impulsive. [Fanning] was 15, and I wasn’t allowed to grope her. I’m actually not kidding, there are major restrictions that I don’t remember (from) when I was younger. I don’t want to give anything away. It’s a really passionate, hardcore scene…No, it’s just a kiss. It’s not really a big deal.
The Runaways hits theaters April 9, 2010 with a special sneak preview being shown in Austin, TX at the SXSW Tour today!
The press conference at the American Film Market last November features a healthy looking Corey Haim discussing his latest, and subsequently last on-screen performance in the thrillerAmerican Sunset. In the film Haim plays a husband whose wife is kidnapped and must fight to save her. Haim discussed how playing the role of a husband was a transition for the former child actor. Haim also discussed of his other upcoming projects, appearing very excited about the future of his career.
It’s difficult to watch such a youthful and focused Corey Haim, while knowing he has passed away so suddenly. But the Virtual Channel Network, which filmed the conference, said it best:
Corey Haim, an actor with a tremendous body of work and the talent to match, lost his life far too soon. There are many things he will be remembered for, but the VCN will remember him most as a human being with a tremendous desire to do the one thing he loved most in life: act.
We are glad we were able to preserve the experience of one of his last press events, and hope to honor him by showing it to you.
I’m not a huge fan of Kristen Stewart, but she’s owning this sequin strapless mini-dress. Nice gams!
Dakota is showing off her maturity these days and looked hot at the premiere, wearing a short dress. The only thing is the beige/nude color of the dress blends in with her pale skin.
Zach Galifianakis has made his way to main stream! After his big break through role in The Hangover, he has been riding high on the tidal wave of fame. Although Zach has been a stand up comedian for years, he never garnered attention until he played the lovable but clueless brother-in-law Alan Garner in The Hangover.
He most recently hosted SNL, a gig that every comedian dreams of!
Zach shaved his beard for this sketch. He was literally backstage during commercial break frantically shaving!
Now that’s dedication to his work!
It isn’t all laughs when Zach talks about comedians being looked over for awards.
“I get frustrated,” he opines, “because with serious movies anybody can look at the camera and say these words. But when you’ve got to make it funny, it’s harder.”
Putting comedies and musicals into one awards category, he adds, makes the whole situation even worse: “They are two different things. It’s insulting,” he says.
Right now his schedule is jam packed with four new movies (plus five more in development) and the second season of popular Showtime comedy series Bored to Death coming out this year.
It’s Kind of a Funny Story, which co-stars Emma Roberts, is a departure from the typical comedy films he is known to play in. In an interview with Variety, Zach talks about how this film is different. He says “It’s dramatic, a smaller movie”
Just being released this year is Rogues Gallery, something he made 2 1/2 years ago with Emilie de Ravin. Zach plays Hermit and Emilie plays Heirophant. Sound like odd names? Well they should! The movie follows a battle between government spy teams who take their names from the Tarot deck. The action film also stars Ving Rhames and Ellen Barkin.
Next up to bat is Dinner for Schmucks with a July release date. The premise of the movie is based off an old French film titled Le Diner de Cons or The Dinner of Idiots, which is a comedy masterpiece and was praised by fans and critics alike. The remake stars Zach Galifianakis, Paul Rudd, and Steve Carrell, and is directed by Jay Roach (who directed all the Austin Powers movies and Meet the Fockers)
“I play a guy who thinks he can read minds and manipulate people with his mental powers,” he says. “I didn’t do much research.”
Lastly, Galifianakis stars in the autumn release Due Date, which Zach says is “a buddy movie with Robert Downey Jr. But we’re not buddies. It’s a traveling across America kind of thing.” At first you might think of 80’s comedy ‘Planes, Trains, and Automobiles’ but it’s actually about a high-strung man forced to hitchhike across America to make it in time to see his baby born. ‘Due Date’ also stars Jamie Foxxand Juliette Lewis and was directed by Todd Phillips of ‘The Hangover’ fame. So it was a reunion of sorts, sound like comedy gold!
When asked what has changed for him since the success of ‘The Hangover’ Zach had this to say!
“I get a better table at Long John Silver’s. Other than that, not to be thinking too much about it,” he says. “People keep telling me, ‘Your life’s changed.’ Not really. I’m 40. I think I have a sensible attitude. I don’t want to be recognized, but what can you do?”

This communication continued until as recently as March 14, the week after Sandra Bullock took the stage at the Academy Awards and gave her (ex) husband Jesse a loving shout-out. After the dirty rat came out of the bag about Jesse’s 11-month affair, Sandra canceled her appearance at The Blind Side’s London premiere for “personal reasons,” according to her rep, and immediately moved out of the home she shares with Jesse. They were married for almost 5 years.

For having had rumors spread about their break-up, Britney Spears and Jason Trawick seemed pretty close when spotted on Wednesday walking in Beverly Hills holding hands.
Britney then went into a party store and wore Minnie ears. I don’t know, maybe it helps bring her back to those Disney Mouseketeer days with Justin.
Robert Pattinson and Emilie de Ravin were spending the evening together at the posh Ivy Club in London, are they taking Remember Me to real life?
Robert is spotted leaving first, making this wonderful face for the paparazzi! He can’t help but be HOT! Though he was being pulled through mobs of people, he still stopped to sign some autographs for the fans waiting outside the Ivy.
What a guy! Not at all like he use to be, remember that?
He then gets in the cab and just sits in there as the cameras snap away. He doesn’t look very happy–so just get out of there, Rob!
