First Laguna Beach, then Hollywood, and now Manhattan? There has been talk of a possible spinoff of MTV reality show The Hills, featuring LC’s sweet sidekick, Whitney Port, through all new single-girl adventures in NYC. While only speculation, these rumors have left giddy fans wondering - is it really true?

The scene has been set - Whitney left Teen Vogue at the beginning of last season, taking a challenging yet glamorous position at People’s Revolution, a cutthroat fashion PR company located in Los Angeles and New York City. When owner Kelly Catrone mentions a possible move for Whitney to the New York office, rumors started flying.
Between the constant drama between Heidi and Spencer, the excitement of LC’s life as a single, 20-something-year-old girl living in Hollywood, and Audrina’s adventures on the back of Justin Bobby’s motorcycle, Whitney is at times rarely featured in your average episode of The Hills. Which could go either way - following her around New York City could either be incredibly boring or stepping out of LC’s shadow could shed a whole new light to Whitney’s character and bring out the crazy in her. Every guy I know is already mildly obsessed with the sweet, sometimes goofiness of Whitney’s character, so if anything, ratings will probably probably skyrocket.

Another MTV “reality” show? Bring it on.

The Hills stars Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port have reportedly left their jobs at Teen Vogue.
During The Hills November 2007 third-season finale broadcast, Teen Vogue west-coast editor Lisa Love informed Port and Conrad they’d be traveling to Paris to help the publication cover the Crillon Ball, an annual international debutante gala that took place on November 24.
Teen Vogue’s coverage of the Crillon Ball will appear in the magazine’s March 2008 issue, which according to Women’s Wear Daily, has Port listed as West Coast fashion contributor and Conrad as intern.
Eight additional The Hills third-season episodes are scheduled to air this spring on MTV and will pick-up right where the finale left off, following Conrad and Port as they travel to the Crillon Ball.
Conrad’s job hunt may not last long because she has spotted dining with event promoter Brent Bolthouse in L.A. on December 22, according to a report in Ok! Weekly’s January 14 issue.
This is were the drama starts to unfold.
“Lauren met with Brent to talk through coming on board at Bolthouse Productions,” an “insider” told OK!
Bolthouse Productions is were Lauren’s enemy Heidi Montag works. So obviously Lauren doesn’t want to work with Heidi. Which means that Heidi may be looking for a new job soon.
Apparently, Heidi isn’t taking the news well. All I have to say to Heidi is, that karma’s a b**ch sometimes. What goes around comes around sweety.
