It’s time for another battle involving catchy pop music and plenty of good-looking fellas to lay our eyes on. We launched our brand new show Battle of the Boy Bands last week with One Direction kicking The Wanted’s butt while having the best week ever. But will they take home another win this week against former X-Factor contestants Emblem3?

Chelsea Briggs is pitting these boys against each other for another competitive (but still oh-so-fun) Battle of the Boy Bands!

While having four mates at your side can’t hurt, you don’t need to be in a boy band to cross over from the U.K. to the United States and make a name for yourself in the music industry. Olly Murs did it as a solo act ― well, with a touch of help from a British boy band you may have heard of.

Thanks to Walmart Risers, the former X-Factor contestant sat down for a chat with us about what it was like to tour with One Direction ― and the ear ache that comes along with that honor! Watch after the jump.

We’re not sure if you’ve noticed, but here at Hollywire, we are kind of digging boy bands these days. While there’s room in our ears for more than one catchy hit from a group of good-looking guys, let’s face it: it’s no fun if we don’t pit them against each other in battles over who’s the best.

On our radars most these days? One Direction and The Wanted, of course, who just so happen to both hail from the U.K. and both surfaced right around the same time, making it all the easier to face them off against each other.

The Wanted had a big week because they released their new single and video “Walks Like Rihanna,” which has very little to do with RiRi and everything to do with parodying the boy bands that came before. (What better subject for our very first Battle of the Boy Bands show?)

Meanwhile, 1D had a big week because, well, they’re One Direction.
