December 2 should be a national holiday. It’s the QUEEN’S birthday on Sunday – Britney Spears, ya’ll! The legendary pop princess is turning 31 and we’re taking a break from planning our Britney Birthday Bash (ya’ll are invited) to share some of her greatest career and life moments -- 31 to be exact.

Sure, the girl has had a meltdown or two (let’s not talk about 2007), but she’s the very definition of "comeback." The troubles that broke Britney down only paved the way for who she is today, so you'll find some of those on our list in addition to her many highlights. Now that she's getting a hefty paycheck to sit behind a table and judge The X Factor, Ms. Spears has showed us all that we can rise above our troubles.

But, okay, enough mushy stuff. Let’s talk Brit Brit!

It's been too long since we heard new music from Britney Spears, but now that she's back in the public eye on a weekly basis thanks to The X-Factor, Britney lent her pipes to a new track by will.i.am.

The track itself leaked last week, and last night, Brit premiered two minutes of the video during The X-Factor's live show. Now, the whole vid is available for our viewing pleasure on VEVO, and we know you're going to watch... because, as her vocals so helpfully remind us in the track, "It's Britney, bitch!"

Hollywood is so into biopics, it’s a wonder there’s anyone left to make a biopic about. There’s a built-in appeal to watching a famous person play another famous person ― it’s fame squared!

Of course, the quality of a biopic depends on a lot of factors. Currently in theaters, we can see one of the most esteemed actors of all time, Daniel Day-Lewis, playing history’s most beloved president, Abraham Lincoln ― a role for which he very well may win an Oscar. Then again, there’s also Lindsay Lohan as Elizabeth Taylor in Liz & Dick, a role that was… um, less acclaimed.

If Lifetime decides to capitalize on the (atrocious) buzz surrounding Liz & Dick and keep churning out these splashy biopics, they'll need to scrape the bottom of the celebrity barrel to find a star who hasn’t been played before.
