Hollywood hunk Channing Tatum turns 32 today, and in honor of his gorgeousness and general awesomeness, we're taking a look back at his star-making roles through the years!

After working as a male stripper (where he developed skills that he'll get to show off in the upcoming film Magic Mike), Channing got his big break at 25 when he played Jason Lyle in 2005's Coach Carter. From there, he went on to star in such major films as Step Up, Dear John, and 21 Jump Street, just to name a few!

In their new film Magic Mike, Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey play strippers at an all-male review. So of course they had to research their roles, right?

Matthew recently admitted that early on in the filming process, he and Channing went to a male strip club in New Orleans. "I was there for about an hour," he said. "That was enough." But Channing wasn't nearly as uncomfortable as Matthew was -- after all, he was a male stripper in real life!
