This year's BET Awards could get a wee bit awkward for some of the nominees.

The 2013 BET Awards will take place on June 30th at the Nokia Theatre in LA, which gives Drake, Chris Brown and Rihanna a few weeks to prep for being in the same vicinity together after some very public fighting and breakups have ensured they won't all be going all Three's Company on us any time soon. The trio are just a few of the nominees for the awards show, with Drake leading the pack by landing an astounding 12 nominations.

Rihanna's televised interviews are typically on seven-second delay in case she lets an "F" bomb slip, but that's nothing compared to her concerts -- which are on three hour delay.

The singer was booed during the final U.S. show of her Diamonds World Tour in Boston after hitting the stage three hours late and not providing an opening act to tide the crowd over. The fans were particularly P.O.'d because this was a rescheduled show after RiRi cancelled her previous gig in March due to illness.

Kickstarter was created as a way for creative people with big ideas but not a lot of funds to generate financing on their intended projects. It’s been a major asset for a number of different projects, including independent films that may have never had a chance to be made and seen otherwise.

More recently, though, some bigger players are getting into the game. Rob Thomas and Kristen Bell turned to Kickstarter to get Veronica Mars fans to put the down payment on a big-screen adaptation of their beloved TV mystery series, then Zach Braff announced a spiritual sequel to Garden State that he also wants to pay for with this new-fangled model.
