Kicking someone when they're down has become a sporting event of sorts in the entertainment world thanks to reality TV, but a recently posted music video may have taken the trend too far.

The "Tan Mom", a.k.a. Patricia Krentcil, made headlines last year for her leathery complexion and allegedly putting her six-year-old daughter in a tanning booth. She was cleared of the charges last February and we thought was the end of that, but she inexplicably came back around by requesting to appear in porn and recording a rap song. There's now been a music video released for said song, "It's Tan Mom", and it's sphincter-clenchingly bad.

Courtney Stodden, the former child bride turned reality star and "singer," has been swearing up and down since turning 18 that she'd never do porn. But perhaps after witnessing how much money former Teen Mom Farrah Abraham made with the release of her sex tape, Courtney is now declaring that she has a "hidden" solo tape of herself. Could Cleveland-area McDonald's fan Charles Ramsey become the next major pop star?

The Ohio native, whose interview with a local TV station about rescuing the three women held captive for a decade in his neighbor's home went viral due to some hilarious liners, saw the autotuned version of the interview go mega-viral with 12 million views in just six days. There are now reports that he's been approached to cash in on his 15 minutes and record an actual song.

While we can't blame him for taking advantage of the perks of unexpected fame, we just hope he doesn't get delusions of grandeur like some other "accidentally famous" people. When a celebrity poses for Playboy, it's the ultimate acknowledgement of their D-list status and usually a last ditch attempt for a final big payday before completely fading out of the spotlight. As humiliating as that sounds, though, it could get worse: imagine being a celebrity who is rejected by Playboy!

Pia Rizza, one of the stars of trashtastic VH1 reality show Mob Wives, was just rejected by the magazine. After finding out that nude pics were about to be released of her, she decided to release the photos herself and land a Playboy spread along the way. But Hef and Co. said they weren't interested at this time because, well, can anyone actually name a single person on that show? Pia received a $100,000 hardcore porn offer from a separate company immediately afterwards, but declined.

Happy (almost) spring!

We're only into February, but can't imagine music getting any worse than this in 2013.

In one corner: Courtney Stodden: The child bride attention whore turned adult attention whore is still trying to make that music career happen and has released a music video for her new single "Reality." (Something she knows a lot about, clearly.)

In the other corner: Carmen Electra. The former supermodel apparently got the singing bug again after reportedly dating Simon Cowell and has released the music video for her comeback single "I Like It Loud."
