People love The Ellen DeGeneres Show for numerous reasons, but one thing she’s got down that other hosts don’t is her ability to scare just about every celebrity that sits in her chairs. What hasn’t been done yet? Why, turning the tables and scaring Ellen, which is what Jennifer Aniston tried to do... but failed… horribly.

So Legion opens with the following short exchange between a devoutly religious mother and her young daughter "Why is God so mad?" "I don't know, I guess he just got tired of all the bullsh*t." I got a good kick out of that beginning, and it sets the stage well for the little skirmish between mankind and God that takes place during the movie.
For a movie as overflowing with space-movie clichs as Pandorum inarguably is, it's amazing what a thrilling science fiction horror experience it is. I spent at least as much time spotting references and homages to decades of science fiction history as I did following the movie's story, but it never feels like a rip-off or a tired plodding through old ideas.
