The Twittersphere has been having its own version of a coming out party for NBA star Jason Collins.

Jason made worldwide headlines yesterday when he became the first active American athlete from a major sports team to reveal he's gay. He declared in an upcoming issue of Sports Illustrated: “I’m a 34-year-old NBA center. I’m black. And I’m gay.”
