    There's only two episodes left of The Vampire Diaries this season, and Hollywire's got some amazing sneak preview photos of the May 10 season finale!

    The finale, titled "The Departed," will be one of the show's trademark flashback episodes -- with a twist! Instead of delving into Damon's, Stefan's, or Katherine's past, this flashback will offer a look into a period of Elena's life that we've never seen before! And there will be some very exciting guest appearances!

    All I can say is, wow. That was one of the most emotional -- and most shocking -- episodes of The Vampire Diaries EVER.

    We finally have an episode featuring the whole cast! Jeremy is back, Tyler's back, Bonnie's front and center… hell, even Meredith is there! The gang is back together again… but not for long. It's the Mystic Falls High Decade Dance, and tonight the 1920s are more roaring than ever.

    It's the most wonderful time of the year -- for Vampire Diaries fans, at least! It's finally time for the Decade Dance! 

    This season's decade is the 1920s, which makes for some amazing wardrobe possibilites. (We all know the VD costume department goes to town on the Decade Dance episodes!)     On Saturday night, just in time for Earth Day, Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder hosted The Influence Affair: An Evening of Authentic Synergy, Sensory Delight and Beauty. "The coming together of like-minded individuals through action is what's needed to see wide spread change for us, our planet and its creatures," Ian said of the event.

    Celebs in attendance included Vampire Diaries stars Nina Dobrev, Claire Holt, Persia White, Malese Jow, and Kayla Ewell, grafitti artist Erik Wahl, Ian's Lost co-star Maggie Grace, and many more!
