There are few couples that have endured more speculation about their marriage than Will and Jada Pinkett Smith.

The couple married in 1997 and have been the subject of countless rumors of divorce and infidelity since then. However, the one piece of tabloid fodder that hasn't ever gone away is that the couple are in an open marriage. Of course, it didn't help when Jada recently did an interview with Huffpost Live and said, "I've always told Will, 'You can do whatever you want as long as you can look at yourself in the mirror and be OK.'"

Most of our parents said no to piercings and crazy haircuts at some point growing up, but Jada Pinkett Smith is not one of those parents.

Her daughter Willow Smith has been rocking everything from a mohawk to a buzz cut in recent years, leaving many to question who would let their pre-teen daughter dress like that. Jada addressed the critics in a Facebook post, saying she's simply giving Willow the opportunity to take charge of her own life. "The question why I would LET Willow cut her hair. First the LET must be challenged," she wrote. "This is a world where women, girls are constantly reminded that they don't belong to themselves; that their bodies are not their own, nor their power or self determination. I made a promise to endow my little girl with the power to always know that her body, spirit and her mind are HER domain."

From American Idol to The X Factor, Simon Cowell seemed to have no plans of slowing down until he had his own network a la Oprah Winfrey. But his plans for a DJ X Factor, which he announced last January, have been permanently shelved.

Simon described DJ's as "the new rock stars" and wanted to create the first ever reality show competition for them. It would have taken zero effort -- basically the exact same format as The X Factor, but replace vocals with turntables. He even had a major backer in production company Overbrook, which is owned by Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. Unfortunately, the trio could not work out the terms of the agreement and they were left with no choice but to scrap the show, according to the New York Post.
