The next season of American Idol will feature an entirely new judging panel.

All four judges are exiting the show next season, with sources close to the program confirming that Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson will not be coming back this fall. Fox is presenting its new fall lineup to advertisers today in NYC and is expected to officially announce the bold move then.

Aren’t hashtags awesome?

Pretty much every major musician in the game seems to think so these days. Will.i.am has both a single and an album fronted by a “#,” and Mariah Carey’s new song with Miguel “#Beautiful” also seems to think it is worthy of trending. Now Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull are getting into the hashtag action with “Live It Up” ― or is that “#LiveItUp”? ― in a new single and lyric video that are all primed for Twitter.
