First Jennifer Lopez gets the boot and now this? It was rumored that Steven Tyler of the superstar rock band, Aerosmith, may be taking a permanent seat at the judges table for season 10 of American Idol in January 2011, along with AI veteran judge, Randy Jackson. Now he is singing a different tune. When Tyler was in Las Vegas on July 13th, he reportedly told reporters that he was going to be a judge on the popular reality competition show, but he reveled to TMZ that now he isn't so sure.

With the auditions for the next season of 'American Idol' only a month away, it's crazy to think that the new panel of judges haven't even been brought together to see if they have any chemistry.

TMZ is reporting that American Idol has taken a gamble with the choice to have Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez head up the judges table and the executives of the show have yet to test run the group.  One source says, "It's ridiculous not to road test these people before committing.... it's insane."
