Hot Topics, MusicJohn Mayer fans everywhere will be singing the blues after hearing about the cancellations of both his SXSW Showcase next weekend and the 2012 Tour for his newest album Born and Raised.
The Gravity singer was forced to make the decision after a visit to the throat doctor detected that the granuloma, or small nodule, he had removed in 2011 had grown back.
Mayer released a statement via his blog today stating an "indefinite break from live performing" but assured fans that the decision pains him as much as it does them.

The singer posted a 60-second clip of his new single Shadow Days yesterday on his official Tumblr. He posted a message to his fans along with the clip and said, “Been looking forward to a post like this since October 14, 2010, the first day I started writing this group of songs…Enjoy.”

In the song, Swift expresses her anger towards a boy named John, who played her, and broke her heart. Everyone knows that her songs are about real life experiences, but she will not confirm Dear John is about John Mayer.
