There are lot of tours and albums that take place in a 12-month window, but only one artist can call themselves the highest paid musician in the business!

Forbes just released their annual list of the highest-paid musicians on the globe between May 2011-May 2012 and the biggest musical money-maker may surprise you. Hint: It wasn't Britney Spears, who came in second with $58 million (boosted, no doubt, by her hefty payday for judging on The X Factor). Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber didn't earn the top spot either, finishing at third and fourth with an impressive $57 million and $55 million, respectively.

People just love searching for Kim Kardashian. Bing gathered up the most-searched people of 2012 and Kanye West’s lady snagged the number one spot. What people were expecting when they searched her I don’t want to know.

Justin Bieber came in at number two, which isn’t too surprising since he dominated anything and everything this year. With his album Believe, breaking up (and maybe making up) with Selena Gomez and just being an all-around busy guy, people wanted to know all about him.

Everyone else that rounded up the top 10 were some of the most-talked about celebs of the year. Take a look after the jump!

Selena Gomez and Katy Perry posed together Tuesday night at the UNICEF Snowflake Ball, and with both ladies looking so good, it's hard to pit them against each other in a 'Best Dressed' contest!

Looking well beyond her years, Selena wore a form-fitting, black and blue Dolce & Gabanna gown embellished with gold sparkles. Meanwhile Katy stood out in a dark blue Naeem Khan dress filled with sheer, circular cut-outs and topped off with a long, cape-like shawl.

With 2012 coming to a close next month (crazy, right?) it’s about that time to reflect on all the wonderful music that our ears have been filled with these past 11 months. Okay, maybe not all of it was wonderful but you either couldn’t get it out of your head or you couldn’t run away from it.

From Call Me Maybe to Gangnam Style, Robin Skouteris has taken every pop song from 2012 (and a few of the past years) and created the first song mashup of 2012 called Poplove. Because, you know, that’s what happens at the end of the year.

It’s not the Oscars. It’s not the Grammys. It’s the awards show where you actually get a say in picking the winners ― and the nominees, too!

Hollywire was present at the announcement of the 2013 People’s Choice Awards nominees this morning, announced by Anthony Anderson, Jason Aldean, show host Kaley Cuoco, and several other stars.

Not surprisingly, given the choice of the people, it was many of the most popular movies, TV shows, and music acts that were recognized. So who got honored? Let's just say Beliebers, Directioners, and fans of Jennifer Lawrence, Channing Tatum, and Emma Stone should be pretty pleased with the results.

Britney Spears and Katy Perry may be multi-millionaires, but that doesn't mean they won't flip out when they feel that their hard earned dough is being taken from them!

They joined roughly 100 other artists that included Cee Lo Green and Maroon 5 in signing an open letter to Pandora. The letter protests the attempt from the music site to have Congress pass the Internet Radio Fairness Act, which would reduce the fees the internet radio service pays for playing artists' music.
