If we’re being honest, the new fall shows announced at the upfronts didn’t give us more than a handful to be truly intrigued by. Yet CBS’ The Crazy Ones, starring Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar, has our interest piqued.

For one, it’s a far cry from the more traditional sitcom setup of other CBS shows like Two And A Half Men or The Big Bang Theory, shot in a more modern single-camera style. For another, the comedic pairing of Robin and Sarah is so crazy it just might work.

Today CBS released a lengthy trailer for the series that shows even more footage from the pilot episode, including a scene with the former Buffy The Vampire Slayer star singing again! (Though this time, it’s a McDonald’s jingle rather than Joss Whedon's awesome songs from the Buffy musical.) At least this time she has some major backup ― Kelly Clarkson, playing herself in a guest spot for the pilot.
