    Kevin Bacon got his big break starring in the original 1984 version of Footloose about a teen who brings back dancing to a small, religious town. Now, the original Ren MacCormack is singing his praises about the flick's remake and the cast!

    Bacon caught a showing of Footloose in Boston – since he wasn’t invited to the big premiere – and later shared a picture on his WhoSays account of his ticket stub along with his thoughts on the film.

    The day to cut loose is finally here! I've been talking about the much anticipated film, Footloose for what seems like ages now, and it finally makes it's theatre debut today (October, 14th)!

    While you should definitely make weekend plans to hit up this fancy foot work inspired film, check out my coverage on the red carpet at the Hollywood premiere!

    I (Chelsea Briggs) got the opportunity to bust out my best dance moves with some of the cast members, as well as chat with the two charming leading players, Kenny Wormald and Julianne Hough!

    Stars showed up to the Footloose after party L.A. on Monday night and danced the night away – including Ryan Seacrest! The E! News host showed up to support girlfriend Julianne Houghat W Los Angeles, and showed everyone that the man can really move!

    "It was seriously like the end of the Footloose movie. Everybody down there, including Ryan and Julianne, were foot stopping and had their hands up," a party guest tells Us Weekly. "Julianne was so happy because apparently Ryan never dances and this was the exception he made for her, because he was so happy for her."

    Julianne Hough catches some serious breeze in this newly released Footloose poster.

    This is just one of many character posters that were recently released for the 1985 remake, which centers around a newly transplanted city kid (Kenny Wormald) who helps his new fellow classmates rebel against their conservative city's rule, which bans music and dancing.
