Lil' Wayne has had better days.

Yesterday was certainly not his best. The rapper owned up with an apology for his deeply offensive lyrics about civil rights icon Emmett Till, which came directly after he had been released from the hospital from suffering yet another seizure.

You'll have to excuse Fat Joe for not being into the holiday spirit right now.

Back in the early and mid-2000s, the rapper had a slew of collaboration hits including 2002's "What's Luv?" with Ashanti, 2005's "Get It Poppin'" with Nelly and 2006's "Make It Rain" with Lil' Wayne. This year hasn't been nearly as stellar, though: he just pleaded guilty in a New Jersey court for failing to pay nearly $3 million in back taxes on income earned from performances and music royalties in 2007 and 2008, according to abcnews.com.

Confirmed: It is entirely possible to smoke too much weed.

The rap world has been getting into the holiday spirit this month, most recently with DMX's take on Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and now we can add Snoop Dogg to the mix. (Sorry, we can't bring ourselves to call him Snoop Lion). Snoop came up with an idea that could only be concocted when someone is really, really high, dressing up as Moses and engaging in a holiday rap battle with Santa. Since the video was posted last Monday, it's received over 4.6 million hits.

So it looks like Nicki Minaj may not be voting for Mitt Romney after all. And not just because she isn't a registered voter...

Nicki took plenty of heat for her track on a recent Lil' Wayne mixtape that included the rhyme, "I'm a Republican voting for Mitt Romney/you lazy bit**es is f***ing up the economy." Barack Obama seemed to take it all in stride though when asked about it during a recent radio interview, according to abcnews.com. “That was probably Roman who did it,” he said jokingly, a reference to Minaj’s alter-ego Roman Zolanski. "She likes to play different characters, so I don’t know what’s going on there."

Another year, another MTV Video Music Awards!

The 29th installment of the awards show took place last night at the Staples Center in LA and was full of the amazing performances and crazy outfits that often only took place at the VMA's. But in the end, it was Rihanna who took home the biggest honor of the night for Video of the Year with We Found Love! “MTV thank you so much. But most importantly my fans, thank you so much for voting. Rihanna Navy. It’s Navy or die!” she said upon collecting her moonman.

RiRi technically wasn't the biggest winner of the night though. Three names snagged TWO moonmen during the VMA's. Find out who after the jump!

Let's be honest, Hollywood isn't exactly Republican friendly. Clint Eastwood recently came out in support of Mitt Romney and Jessica Simpson has said in the past that she's a right-winger, but there aren't too many young Hollywood starlets lining up in support of the Republican way this election. Until Nicki Minaj came along!

The rapper-singer made an appearance on Lil' Wayne's mixtape Dedication 4 and made one of the biggest WTF endorsements of the year in a bizarre verse that also managed to get in a zombie reference, according to ABCnews.com. "I'm a Republican voting for Mitt Romney/You lazy b*****s is f*****g up the economy/Out in Miami I be chilling with a zombie," she rapped. We're not entirely sure that if that's an endorsement Mitt even wants!
