When it's freezing outside as it has been this winter, people tend to hit the theater and escape the cold for a few hours.

Unfortunately for some stars, though, most moviegoers would rather get frostbite than watch the godawful flicks that tend to get released in the early months of every year. Theaters are jam-packed full of Oscar contenders in late December, leaving January and February to burn off the stuff that definitely won't be remembered when the next Academy Awards rolls around.

This year has already seen a bomb or two. Movie 43, starring Oscar-winners like Kate Winslet, Halle Berry and a crazy large ensemble cast, was the first big flop of winter 2013. It's far from the first ever, though. Check out the 11 biggest winter movie flops of all time!
