    Last night’s 84th Academy Awards was filled with acceptance speeches that were heartwarming, funny, and definitely memorable. They had us laughing, shedding a few tears, and maybe even kind of wondering what they were thinking!

    Last night's Oscar telecast was the perfect combination of tradition & seriousness mixed with fun & humor. From Sacha Baron Cohen's character The Dictator spilling an urn full of ashes all over Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet to Octavia Spencer's emotional acceptance speech, it was definitely a night to remember.

    The 84th Annual Academy Awards have come to an end, but with all of the amazing nominees and unpredictable match ups this year, we’re excited to finally know who took home an Oscar during awards season’s biggest night!

    With Hugo having the most nominations of the night, it’s no surprise that the Martin Scorcese film took home a ton of awards (five to be exact)!     For the first time in 30 years, Meryl Streep has finally taken home her third Oscar! The actress was nominated for Best Actress for her role in The Iron Lady, and beat out stars like Michelle Williams and Glenn Close to finally get another Oscar win.

    This was Streep's 17th time being nominated, making her the most-nominated celebrity by the Academy. With this win, bringing her total up to three, only Katharine Hepburn has more wins than the talented actress (she's gotten four)!

    Early this morning, A-list stars woke up early to watch Jennifer Lawrence announce the nominations for the Academy Awards. Or, if they were too anxious to watch, they laid awake in their beds waiting for "the call." While the call didn't happen for everyone (GOSLING! We still love you, always + forever), a handful of bigtime movie stars' phones presumably blew up with kudos and congrats for their nominations -- including Brad Pitt, Michelle Williams, Viola Davis, Jonah Hill and Meryl Streep (obvs).

    Pitt, getting nominated for his performance as a leading man in Moneyball, said that he was thrilled that both Moneyball and Tree of Life were nominated, and decreed, "Pancakes for everyone."
