Last night's Oscar telecast was the perfect combination of tradition & seriousness mixed with fun & humor. From Sacha Baron Cohen's character The Dictator spilling an urn full of ashes all over Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet to Octavia Spencer's emotional acceptance speech, it was definitely a night to remember.

For the first time in 30 years, Meryl Streep has finally taken home her third Oscar! The actress was nominated for Best Actress for her role in The Iron Lady, and beat out stars like Michelle Williams and Glenn Close to finally get another Oscar win.

This was Streep's 17th time being nominated, making her the most-nominated celebrity by the Academy. With this win, bringing her total up to three, only Katharine Hepburn has more wins than the talented actress (she's gotten four)!

While all the musicians were at Staples Center in Los Angeles receiving their prestigious awards at the Grammys, the movie stars crossed the pond to London’s Royal Opera House at the 2012 Orange British Academy Film Awards!
