Starting on Monday, May 6^th and continuing throughout the week, Random Acts of mtvU will feature stars like Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Usher, Nick Cannon and Darren Criss, who will be surprising not only students but some of their biggest fans to thank them for their dedication to making a difference. Oh, and if getting a surprise from some of the biggest names in the industry isn’t enough, they’re also giving away some pretty rad rewards as well!

Remember when most celebrity beefs used to be kept between the involved parties? Not in the era of social media ― now, thanks to Twitter, the world can watch as famous people feud in 140 characters or less.

Recently, our two favorite UK boy bands exchanged several back-and-forth barbs (including 1D’s Zayn dubbing rival Max “chlamydia boy”) and a certain bad boy with anger management issues deleted his Twitter account after a crude misogynistic tirade against a TV writer/producer.

Since these things tend to be the technological equivalent of a boxing match, it got us thinking about some of our other favorite Twitterfights (yep, we just made that one word) ― and, more importantly, who won.
