    Dick Clark was called "the celebrity's celebrity," so when news of his death broke yesterday, Twitter became flooded with an outpouring of love for the icon from some of Hollywood's biggest names. The sad news even prompted the hashtag #legend to trend worldwide.

    Dick's New Year's Rockin' Eve protégé Ryan Seacrest was one of the first to tweet about the news, saying, "I am deeply saddened by the loss of my dear friend Dick Clark. He has truly been one of the greatest influences in my life." Others took a different approach -- Jimmy Kimmel made a good-natured joke, while Neil Patrick Harris put a spin on Dick's own catchphrase.

    Uh-OH! It looks like after just one season of Fox's The X-Factor, the show is already in for some big changes! That's because the show's host Steve Jones, along with judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger won't be returning for season two.

    Although it seems like Jones and Scherziner left the show willingly, sources have revealed to E! News that Simon Cowell wants to take the show in another direction -- and that means he doesn't need his original panel anymore.

    Simon Cowell has released the preview for his new reality singing competition show The X Factor, and it looks like the former American Idol judge is going to continue to bring the heat with the aspiring singers!

    Cowell will judge the competition along with Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger and L.A. Reid, and it will air on September 21 on FOX.  Click inside to get your first look!

    It's official: Paula Abdul is the final judge on Fox's upcoming singing competition show The X Factor!

    It was rumored for quite some time that series creator Simon Cowell wanted to add his former American Idol co-star to the US version of the popular UK show, and she told TV Guide she's thrilled to be reunited with him.

    Abdul will be joining British singing sensation Cheryl Cole, music mogul Antonio "LA" Reid and Cowell on the judging panel, and it was previously announced that Nicole Scherzinger and Steve Jones will co-host the program.
