The highly anticipated new show from Simon Cowell, The X Factor, is almost here and the closer it gets to its debut the more details are released. We've already learned that Cheryl Cole and Antonio "LA" Reid are confirmed as judges and now the hosts have been named.

Former Pussycat Dolls member Nicole Scherzinger and UK TV host Steve Jones have won the jobs as co-hosts, a source tells The Hollywood Reporter. Jones is relatively unknown in the US, but has hosted shows in the UK including T4 Music, As Seen on TV and other shows. Jones being announced as a host came as a surprise to many who believed the co-host would be High School Musical star Corbin Bleu. Sources say that Corbin was considered by Cowell, but he and Nicole didn't have a strong chemistry together.
