The world of entertainment lost a great talent on Sunday. Oscar winner Phillip Seymour Hoffman was found dead in his New York City apartment of an apparent drug overdose. He was 46.
While Phillip admitted himself into rehab back in 2012 after falling off the wagon after two decades of being drug and alcohol free, it’s clear that the disease took control of the late actors life. Often called one of the greatest actors of our time, Phillip certainly left an impact in Hollywood and to many who sat and admired his work.
The best way to remember Phillip is to take a look back at some of his greatest film roles from his 22-year-long career. While there are plenty to choose from, we’ve picked our eight favorites that certainly portray him for what he really was – a phenomenal film actor. Rest in peace, Phillip. You will be greatly missed.
