In addition to winning three trophies last night at the Billboard Music Awards, Justin Bieber also won the distinction of being the only artist to ever get booed for accepting a fan-voted award.

The teenage crooner beat out Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars for the Milestone Award, but not everyone in the crowd was happy about it. Sections of the crowd proceeded to boo Justin when he took to the stage and they only got louder once he started talking.

For a moment there, Christoph Waltz probably thought he was in another Quentin Tarantino movie.

Celebrities attending the Cannes Film Festival this week are expecting a lot of glitzy red carpet appearances, rubbing elbows with the who’s who of the filmmaking world, and maybe some soaking up of French culture. What they aren’t expecting is all of this to be interrupted by gunshots.
