Audrey Hepburn's Designer Gowns For SALE!?!
All I want for Christmas is a designer gown previously worn by movie star icon, Audrey Hepburn!! - Although something tells me these priceless pieces wont be cheap.
Tuesday, Hepburn fans and fashionistas got a sneak peak at the items previously owned by the movie star which will be hitting the auction block December 8th in London.
Among the glamorous items are a Givenchy black lace dress that Hepburn wore in "How to Steal a Million" and a demure ivory wedding gown that never made it down the aisle.
Most of the items are coming from the closet of Tanja Star-Busman who is a longtime friend of the deceased actress. The two meet in London when Tanja was 15 years old and Hepburn 20 - just before her career took off. Busman says that during the duration of their friendship, Hepburn would send her dear friend boxes of star studded clothing items.
Half of the proceeds from the sale are to go to the Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund and UNICEF. Simply amazing!
