Charity Event at Lululemon Brings Out Project Runway Finalists and 90210 Star
Here is my friend Jenna Hannon modeling the designers' black strapless dress, and green satin jumpsuit (forgive the pictures, they were taken with an iPhone)
My friend Andy Bishop with designers Jerell Scott and Korto Momulu.
Both Jerell and Korto could NOT have been nicer! They both had a lot of fans there and took time to talk to and take photos with all of them.
Towards the end of the event, E! News correspondent Jason Kennedy introduced one of the stars of the new 90210, Adam Gregory, and announced that a date with Adam was about to be auctioned off. Right away there was a bidding war between two older women at the event, which seemed to flatter Adam, until a 50 year old man entered the bidding war and would not back down for anyone or anything. Every time the man bid a higher amount, Adam put his hands over his face and begged all of the females in the room to "help" him and to bid on him. Eventually the man won the bidding war with a bid of $500, and Adam looked like a combination of embarrassed and devastated. Jason Kennedy asked the man why he felt the need to bid $500 on Adam, and the man replied, "My daughter," which of course seemed to relieve Adam immensely.
Honestly though, I was excited to see Adam because I'm shamelessly obsessed with the new 90210 myself, but he was kind of a jerk. If someone is spending half a thousand dollars to go on a date with you, and it's for CHARITY, I don't care if it's a goat bidding on you, you happily accept that goat's bid!
Oh well, he's still pretty to look at :)
