What happens when you combine a battle of beauty vs brains? In Washington, D.C., the result is the Miss Sinergy pageant which will be held on November 14th, 2009 at the House Of Sweden (Swedish Embassy) where ladies from all over the United States (including a few former beauty pageant contestants) will be competing for the title of Miss Sinergy 2010.
Some of Hollywood’s most beautiful women were in pageants themselves-Vanessa Williams, Vanessa Minillo, Halle Berry-so it comes as no surprise as to why pageants, including Miss Sinergy, are so popular.

Vanessa Minillo gets crowned Miss Teen USA 1998
Contestants in the Miss Sinergy pageant will be judged on varying standards including their betterment of our environment, self-respect, their desire to contribute to national and international charitable causes effecting the quality of life around the world and more.
One cause that is currently receiving attention from the pageant organizers is Breast Cancer. In 2009, Breast Cancer was responsible for the deaths of over 40,000 women. Those statistics along with October being National Breast Cancer Month provided the perfect platform for Sinergy, the company organizing the pageant, to donate a portion of the proceeds back to Susan G. Komen for the cure.

Unlike other pageants, the public has their say in who will be crowned Miss Sinergy. Simply go online from now until October 20th to cast your vote www.misssinergy.com You can also purchase tickets online for the November 14th event.
Hollywire is certainly excited to see who will win, we’re sure they’ll be out in Hollywood soon after.
