Jonathan Antin Blows Mothers
This weekend, in honor of Mother's Day, Coca Cola, Role Mommy and HemAway presented a celebrity and VIP spa retreat and style lounge for moms and kids. Moms indulged in massage therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic care, professional nutrition consulting and cooking instruction, life coaching, yoga and aromatherapy to sooth away stress. And if that wasn't enough, Jonathan Antin, celebrity hair stylist and star of Blowout, styled their hair and taught each mom how to maintain the best look for them.
I actually wished I was a mom at this event--there was body and facial anti-aging laser treatments, fitness advice from Steve Jordan, lash extensions, and even eco-friendly manicures!
And the parents didn't have to worry about toting around the kiddies because there was a kid's lounge with computer games, clothes to play dress up, face painting and music.
Kids were encouraged to write letter to children in Africa for Kid's Play International's pen-pal program. In fact, this entire event benefited Kid's Play International, which provides sports-focused volunteer service trips and educational sports programs for kids in orphanages and schools throughout Africa, while also helping to connect them to youth in the U.S.
I was so jealous to watch Ali Landry getting her hair done by Jonathan Antin then grabbing the yellow jacket and capri pants that I was eyeing all day at the Lucy booth. Why is it that the rich get the free stuff?? Anyway...
Former Brady, Maureen McCormick, brought her daughter, Natalie, and the two got Mommy and Me pedicures together at the Green Bliss Eco Spa.
Other celebrity guests included Transformers cutie Courtney Nash and mom Neicy Nash, Sean Patrick Thomas, who brought his wife, Aonika, and their baby daughter Lola Jolie, Jared Kusnitz, Nicki Micheaux, Paula Jai Parker, Jennia Fredrique, Sol Aponte, Sidra Smith, Carolyn Hennesey and Jason Levy.
