Kardashians Bebe Collection Sold Out!!

Posted on February 23, 2010 - 5:08pm by becky The new Kardashian Line for Bebe premiered at New York Fashion Week last week and lemme tell you, these are some cute threads they put together!

Khloe, Kourtney and I are extremely proud of what we've created with Bebe and we hope we've made a collection that is wearable, affordable and will make you dolls feel fabulous when wearing it!!!

The girls have put together an affordable collection of dresses; because dresses are easy to put together, still sexy, and one of the things they love to wear!!

Their collaborative efforts have produced 13 pieces, and one of them, is one I would love to call my new little black dress!  Sadly, all of the items (including my new little black dress) except three, are out of stock for purchase online BUT you can look for them in stores.  Bebe has said that they will be replenishing the stock of favorites.

Kim Kardashian addressed rumors they knocked off certain designers for the Bebe collection earlier today:

I've seen some talk online about certain pieces 'knocking off' other designer's pieces and I'd like to share a little piece of fashion wisdom... the clothes you see in the chain stores at your mall are all inspired by designer, runway fashion!!! What stores like Bebe do is take runway fashion and use it as inspiration to create pieces that are wearable and accessible for everyone. To say any of our pieces are a knock off is like saying every item in every clothing store in your mall is a knock off.

Kim K makes a very valid point.  Don't you all remember that scene in "The Devil Wears Prada" when Andrea (Anne Hathaway) scoffs at the decision between two turquoise belts??  Miranda Preistly (Meryl Streep) made it perfectly clear that every decision and item in fashion is somehow inspired by the designers and their runways.

I don't care who originally made it! What these girls have done is created a fashionable yet affordable way to pass down their style! And, I just really want that black dress!



Be on the lookout for their second edition which will come out in stores mid-April!!
