The Un- Photoshopped Version of Britney Spears Candies Ad

Posted on April 13, 2010 - 2:21pm by becky Britney Spears's latest Candies Ad for Kohl's shows a more toned, svelte version of the pop star than we are used to seeing being snapped by the paparazzi.   In reality, we know there's more to these photos than meets the eye. 

Ms. Spears is gorgeous, but we all know there are some discrepancies when suddenly a permanent tattoo is missing. 

Photo shoots for ads and magazines always end up being airbrushed and photo retouched, but Spears wanted to release the originals to her Candies shoot to highlight the pressure exerted on women to look perfect.

It's not like what Jessica Simpson did for her shoot with Marie Claire, but it still takes guts to allow the original photos to be compared side by side!  I'm proud of you Ms. Spears!

Brit says she is proud of her body "imperfections and all" and she had this to add about the shoot:

I had so much fun shooting the Candies for Kohl's campaign. My favorite set-up was against the gigantic wall of pink cotton candy.

See ladies!  No one is perfect!!  Now, if we could only get our hands on some Victoria's Secret before and afters, we'd really be feeling good!
