He can sing, he can dance, and he can play the drums… he has the looks and the talent… Austin Anderson has it all.
Who is Austin Anderson, you ask? Austin is a 14 year-old aspiring actor and performer. He has already released two hit singles, “Your Song” and “Around the World,” on Radio Disney and he has performed in several movies and TV shows, including Disney’s Hannah Montana.
Austin co-wrote “Your Song” and said,
After I performed at the Rady Children’s Hospital of San Diego and saw how much the kids loved music I decided I wanted to write a song about them that would benefit them, too. A lot of these kids spend the holidays in a hospital and I like to go perform for them and see them smile again.
In addition to his continued volunteer time at the Rady Children’s Hospital of San Diego, Austin attends other charity events. I had the pleasure of meeting Austin at the Rhinestone Productions charity Fashion Show that supported the Make-a-Wish Foundation on Friday, September 12th and I can tell that Austin wasn’t at the event to recieve a pat on the back or some PR. He is truly a caring teen who wants to be involved in charity and help others. I really hope to God this guy hasn’t got his head up where the sun don’t shine, like every other Disney tween. I am sick to death of Miley Cyrus and Jonas brothers being so up themselves and trying to make scandals (particuarly Cyrus). These people are as old as I am, perhaps a little younger, why are they letting fame get to their heads? Anyway, I sure hope this guy has some humbleness and won’t let fame engulf him

I have met Austin several times. My daughter just loves him. He is a very nice boy. I have also met his mom and she seems like the type that would not let him get like those other Disney kids. He is also really talented. How many other kids his age do you hear REALLY sing? All that other stuff is all computerized. When a kid can sing acapella in front of a live audience or for a reporter you know they have a real talent! I hope to see more of this young man.
