Eight girls in the same house competing to be on stage?

The one scripted program on this list that is NOT a reality program, this series features a couple who moves to a wealthy, Midwest suburb in the swinging 1970s. During an era of sex and free love, tales are woven of the lives of “desperate housewives”, 70’s style, and sex-crazed, swinging couples.

Were you ever one of those kids who desperately wanted to join the circus? The contestants of this reality show probably were. Celebrities are trained to perform next to real-life circus stars in front of a live audience. Circus professionals act as judges, yet votes to keep them on the show are determined by the viewers.
Mon., June 16, 10:30pm ET, Showtime
Based on real-life diaries, this cable series highlights the life of a legal secretary who moonlights as a call girl. Eventually, her two worlds begin to clash. It’s an interesting concept for a series, especially in light of the recent scandals with government officials and their call girls.
Tori & Dean: Sweet Home Hollywood

This third season of “Tori & Dean” follows the couple and their newborn baby as they leave the Bed & Breakfast they built in the suburbs and move back to the gleaming lights of Hollywood. The couple throws their efforts into getting back into the acting industry, while raising their first child. Guess running a business was a little too much work …

Hosted by John Anderson of “SportsCenter”, this competition highlights competitors engaging in entertaining obstacle courses and other active challenges that are sure to crack a laugh from viewers. 24 new contestants compete in each episode, the winner receiving $50,000 at the end of every episode.
I Survived a Japanese Game Show
Tues., June 24, 9pm ET, ABC
This reality show profiles the experiences of 10 Americans as they are flown to Japan, many of them new to the location, and compete in a challenging Japanese game show. The Japanese culture is featured and explored through this active, engaging competition. The winner takes home $250,000.
High School Musical: Get in the Picture
Sun., July 20, 8pm ET, ABC
Hosted by Nick Lachey, this reality show (number one million of the season) follows 16-22 year-olds as they compete to win a part in “High School Musical 3: Senior Year”. The series airs Sundays and Mondays at 8pm for first three weeks, then continues on Mondays only. The astounding popularity of HSM will definitely keep this series afloat.
Wed., June 25, 8pm ET, NBC
Five couples, ages 18-20, are given the responsibility of parenthood as they are assigned to care for children of all ages from newborns to teenagers, as well as pets and senior adults. Their young relationships are tested for three weeks as the couples live together and work on raising a family. A far cry from the sack of flour I had to carry and dress up as a baby in grade school.

Four celebrity judges bet on competing celebrities who take on innovative stunts and challenges performed in front of a live audience. Contestants include Drew Lachey & Scott Hamilton, their wins go to the charity of their choice. Sounds like a mix of “Wipeout” & “Celebrity Circus” – right?

Most of these shows are good but I am most looking forward to Baby Borrowers. I saw the commercial where the kid peed all over the couch, I’m telling you it’s going to be the funniest show on tv.
