On Saturday June 6th I got to go and cover a Hollywood Knights basketball game at WoodBridge High School for Hollywire’s Teen Scene.
The Hollywood Knights are a celebrity basketball team whose line up includes Robert Hoffman, Michael Copon, Josh Hutcherson, Josh Henderson, Brian Krause and many more. The stars go out to local high schools to play a game of basketball against that schools teachers and staff for a fundraising event.
The game started with all the players being introduced and the crowd went wild! Let me tell you every girl in the school was screaming, including me, when the stars ran out onto the floor. At half time the stars treated the fans to an autograph session and took pictures.
There was also a half time performance by a group named, Burtha, which–besides the weird name–the fans loved!
The game ended with the teachers beating the Knights. It was a great game.
