I hope like hell this movie dies before it’s released, sure the producers have thier hearts in the right place but it’s going to be an insult to the Zelda saga.
I mean just look at gannondorf’s crapy beard and complete lack of muscle!

umm… yeah seeing this trailer the story is quite off, wheres the part when link is a kid in kokiri forest?? i hate when they do this… makes the whole story line to the games made absolutely useless and the game story is epic as it is. The trailer looks great though i advice, play through ocarina of time before watching this even if your eyes turn to cubes. Also… they could’ve got better looking actors and actresses… Nevertheless I’d go and watch it since I’m a fan of the game :).

Link is a kid ONLY in Ocarina of Time no need to complain so much. I hope it’s a fake though I’d hate if Zelda was so heretically screwed up. Besides, if a Zelda film comes up, everyone will start commenting like experts, just like it happened with 300 and LOTR.

Hmmm. This is without doubt the best fake i have ever seen. But they totaly got the beginnig messed up(he’s supposed to meei Princess Zelda as a KID, discover temple of time as a KID, then go FORWARD seven years in time, NOT backwards. Still, looked really awesome
If they area going to make a movie about it(which have been stated before) they better do it well, not making it suck like Doom and D.O.A. (wouldn’t mind a Metroid Movie either <3 )

Eeesh. Thank god it’s just an april prank.
I would have had to got bomb the studios for making this. Any Zelda movie would turn out like all other hollywood attempt to make a VG movie: sucky, insulting, unfaithful, vulgar and commercial spin-off of the original universe and story.
And GOD, as a girl who always liked the character design of Link, I think that actor was way too fugly to play the part.

I have to agree. The actors just dont fit, maybe the princess, but link, WTF!!! Get that dood from pirates and LotRs (whos name escapes me right now… and Im too lazy to google it :p)
And Im not much of a Zelda fanatic but arent the elves of hyrul (sp?) like all other elves in other games? Living for hundreds if not thousands of years, so why only travel back 7 years? They did say 7 right? Well damn couldnt he just go meet himself and slap himself around, or the enemies do that since he would be weaponless, armorless, and apparently thoughtless XD

Zelda is a big game one of the best games in the world. so if your going to make a movie of it at least try to make the movie awesome what was that, the guy looks like he is half dead, don’t put out this movie until you have made some changes to it. what about the special effects, and make the movie more realistic and interesting, some awesome battle scenes and try to get a better actor as Link cause that one sucks he looks like he is half dead, the world loves Zelda so please make a good movie sorry and awesome movie of it. okay!!!!!!!!!!!

IMO, Ganondorf should look tougher and more evil, also they should represent Link with a well known actor or at least someone who looks like him. Regarding Zelda, she is perfect.
If you noticed, Link isn’t lefty as he usually is.

Well, i saw this on youtube first and for all you who hated the imagery here youtube hs it in HD… no jokes. Idk, it looks really cool and 50/50 its fake but seriously… the trailer there is better than the trailer for the actual movie coming out! (yes, its an independant film, see the preview at http://www.legendofzeldaseries.com/main.php?page=fanmovietrailer.html ) but i think (being a semi- zelda fan, idk the story lines) that it looks really good. It would be a HUGE waste of money if they just made that up as a stupid joke. if it is just a joke, ill be really mad.

I am most certainly not fond of the character playing Link, but this film looks so great. I’m just praying it isn’t a fake. I will be seeing this on its release date! I’ve loved Zelda since I was really young!
