MediaTakeOut.com is reporting that Mike Tyson has tentatively agreed to fight, streetfighter, Kimbo Slice.
A ProElite insider claims that the two are scheduled to fight, “late this year or early next.” However, Kimbo must first win next Saturday’s match against James ” Colossus” Thompson.
If these rumors are true Tyson has a lot of training to do. He is not exactly in fighting shape anymore, see Mike Tyson, from fit to flab.
Kimbo on the other hand is at the top of his game. He has had three sanctioned MMA fights all of which he has won in the first round. He beat MMA fighters Rob Mercer by submission (Guillotine Choke) in 1 minute and 12 seconds, Bo Cantrell in 19 seconds by TKO, and Tank Abbott in 43 seconds by KO. Kimbo is definitely a fierce competitor and as Maxim magazine put it, “Kimbo Slice is simply the toughest man in America.”

UPDATE: EliteXC Live Events President Gary Shaw has issued a statement, denying rumors of a scheduled fight, saying, “I’ve had no discussions with Mike or anyone around Mike.” However, he did go on to say that if Mike Tyson was willing he’d, “make that fight in a heartbeat. Call it a freak show or a circus or whatever you want, but it would be the most watched pay-per-view event ever.”
Kimbo’s trainer and former UFC Champion Bas Rutten said, “We don’t want him to be treated like a circus act, because he he’s not.”

Mike Tyson stands a chance, even if he doesn’t train. That Sean Gannon guy beat him and he looked fat and out of shape. Kimbo can’t last long. If he doesn’t beat you right away he wears out quick. Mike would definitely win.

dont think it will happen slice would beat him for fitness think mike is to old now and prob wouldnt get back into good enough shape like slice who is competive.tyson would have destroyed him in seconds in his hayday but now i think way past it but you never know with his punch.

you got to understand a couple of things about this fight, tyson has been a pro fighter since the 80’s he has been trained by the best but lets not forget wwhere tyson came from, he was probably street fighting b4 kimbo was into all of this, tyson is 7 years older but i think as a boxer myself that mike will out skill him and out punch him in everyway possible. i dont think that kimbo is a great fighter all the fights i have seen him in i think mike tyson would have beat them all in 30 seconds.

Wow Tyson and Kimbo maybe a boxing match. If you give Tyson maybe 6-8 months to train for MMA. He would easily kill Kimbo. I mean that literally. Tyson is a f***ing animal when he enters a ring. Man, Mike Tysons punch is a 30/mph car hitting you, one ton… if that connects on Kimbo Slice, he will be gone! Kimbo Slice is strong aswell, but the thing is.. you haven’t really seen him last long with the opponent, expect for Sean Gannon. (Thats because Kimbo Slice, doesn’t have enough Stamina, he has a lot of strength but not enough Stamina) Mike Tyson can last in the ring with him for more then half an hour, and still stay in a shape of a Tiger, Kimbo Slice will be tired, and Mike Tyson will just be warming up.. if Kimbo Slice got beat by Sean Gannon, Mike can kick his arse no doubt, whatsoever.. I’d bet on Mike, all the way!

This fight would be the greatest! Kimbo is just sick. He has lots of heart, and will power to always be the better fighter. His strength is also amazing. Mike Tyson was exactly the same way in the 80’s. I am sure that with nothing but full concentration, Mike Tyson can get in wonderful shape, almost like he use to be. I hope the fight happens and we all get the show of our dreams. But i must say if Mike Tyson gets in the shape he was once in, I would not want to be Kimbo Slice. If Mike Tyson decides to go at it the way he did with Lenox Lewis, Kimbo Slice will just embarrass him. The biggest thing that excites me is to see the ferociousness the both have in most of there previous fights!

The thing is though, I know this fight isn’t going to happen.. but Mike Tyson is a tramp! He has no money left.. he thought he was really rich, this and that, so he gambled all his money. And guess what people?
