Miley Cyrus and Disney have reportedly dissed the gay community by throwing Miley’s sweet 16 party on the same weekend that is usually reserved for Gay Days. Gay Days is an event that brings thousands of gays and lesbians to Disneyland and is celebrated on the same weekend every year, but 
this year Disney chose to have Miley’s party on that weekend. The entire park is being closed for Miley’s sweet 16 celebration on October 5th even though her actual birthday is in November. Do you think this was purposely planned by Disney or a coincidence?

I don’t know if Disney planned this on purpose, but it’s ridiculous that her huge party is being thrown a month before she actually turns 16.

Ok…just a few points
1)We have no idea what Miley plans for her ‘actual birthday’ heck she might even be doing a show and decided to celebrate a month early when she has the time.
2)Even if she did acknowledge and place her party on that weekend I doubt it would be Miley fault but Disney….they choose who comes and who goes.
3)Not everyone in this world knows what going on everywhere else in this world.

I’m 29 years old, male, married to a beautiful woman..and I just want to say I’m sick of hearing about gay this and gay that. They’re people. They wants rights. Fine. Why do they get “days”? Where are “Straight days”? I mean booked on the calendar “straight days”. Then I read online recently that a gay man sued eharmony.com for not having gay personals on their site. Fine. Where are the straight personals on the gay sites?
So what if Miley got “the day”? It shouldn’t matter who wants to go when. Just go if you can. Whoopity doo.

@charles: Have you ever thought about your situation? I would like to see you and your neighbourhood, jumping around your backyard, if two gay persons, men or women, would move next to your house and “throw a party”. Who will be first to call 911?
What´s all about some people, having a party, coz their “normal” life is hard enough? Do you have to hide your “being straight”? I don´t think so!
