Adam Sandler broke his nose & needed emergency surgery!
Adam Sandler was rushed to the hospital over the weekend when his nose was crushed to pieces while playing basketball with some friends--apparently, as he and one of his friends were both jumping up to catch the basketball, they both came crashing down in a tangle, and his friend's elbow landed directly & forcefully on his nose! OUCH!
It is being speculated that he will never be able to smell again! That is so tragic! In addition, his nose is going to require extensive and multiple surgeries to ever have the chance of even looking like a nose again! Unbelievable!

Adam Sandler broke his ankle over the weekend while playing a game of basketball. Not to worry though, his publicist said that he still won the game!
Sandler has a film due out later this year called Bedtime Stories--he plays a hotel handyman whose bedtime stories come true--his injury will not affect production.
