Celebs Olly Out For Rob Dyrdek's "Street Dreams" Premiere
The premiere for Rob Dyrdek's new film Street Dreams, which is about a boy who dreams of being a pro skateboarder but keeps getting into trouble with the law, was held last night at Graumann's Chinese Theater in Hollywood and tons of celebs came out to support the event!
Most surprising but also most pleasing was Lipstick Jungle hottie Robert Buckley (who we all know I have a ginormous crush on) and he looked adorable in his grey zip-up and thick-rimmed glasses!
Also in attendance was Nicky Hilton and boyfriend David Katzenburg who was an executive producer on the film.
Steve-O walked the red carpet in typical "Steve-O" fashion, wearing the exact same outfit from the evening before, but hey, Megan Good would be proud of him for not succumbing to Hollywood fashion standards and so are we!
Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park showed up and was probably one of the coolest celebs I've met in a while. The first thing he did was tell me he liked my 80s-style sunglasses I was wearing and asked if he could try them on! So I took the opportunity to get some pretty priceless pics of him wearing the glasses!
Bai Ling showed up looking somewhat normal in a blue dress with a handsome date on hand!
Ryan Dunn from Jackass posed for pictures with and without his tattoo moustache!
It was P-Rod however who got the most screams from across the street on Hollywood Blvd from the fans! For those who don't know Paul Rodriguez, or "P-Rod" as he's often referred to, is the number one skateboarder in the WORLD! He's also the star of Street Dreams so he had an entire entourage with him at the premiere.
E! News and X Games host Sal Masekela who also served as executive producer on the film rocked the red carpet with his business partner Jason Bergh. We interviewed Sal a couple of months ago at another event and he told us about how excited he was for Street Dreams to premiere, amongst other things. Check out the video HERE!
Finally Rob Dyrdek, skateboarder often associated with DC shoes and clothing who sponsor him, and star of MTV shows Rob and Big and Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory, made a big entrance, jumping up and down with the rest of the cast on what could be the largest skateboard ever made.
After the skateboard entrance Rob and the rest of the cast got chummy with the cameras and there were lots of cries of "We did it!"
This movie really seemed to mean a lot to everyone involved, and it seems to be doing well as it was already selected as the Audience Award Winner For a Feature Film at the Newport Beach Film Festival. It also was the first film to ever sell-out at that festival and was named the "most buzzworthy film."
