Diablo Cody is returning to high school for the 3rd time. First it was Juno, then Jennifer’s Body, and now she is taking on hit 90s teen book series, Sweet Valley High.

According to Variety, Diablo will write and produce the film. Like all other teen girls, Diablo was a huge fan and read the series growing up.

There was once a TV series based off of Francine Pascal’s books which revolves around the lives of teenage twins Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield, who live in Sweet Valley, California.

Elizabeth is the responsible more sophisticated twin who likes to read and write and hopes to become a journalist one day. She writes for the SV newspaper and is always happy to give advice to anyone who needs help.

Jessica, on the other hand, is the flirty, more outgoing, popular twin who is head cheerleader and is only interested in boys and fashion.

The gorgeous blondes in the TV series were played by Brittnay and Cynthia Daniels. I wonder who is going to play them in the movie. Any suggestions?
