Exclusive Pre-Oscar Party at MyHouse

Posted on February 22, 2009 - 6:48pm by HollyGoLightly Pre-Oscar parties were going off all around town last night as Hollywood prepared for the big day. Celebrities gathered from far and wide to party at the "Tag The World/ Reality Cares Party" at club MyHouse. MyHouse is located across the street from the Kodak Theater where the Oscars would be held the next day.



Hollywire was there -- MyHouse rolled out the red carpet for celebs such as Bai-Ling, Ken Davitian (Borat), Madeline Zima (Californication), and Maksim & Karina (Dancing with the Stars). Oh, and Stephanie Pratt also showed up sans Speidi.



Inside the club was packed to the gills. Hollywire was given access to the VIP area where celebrities and their entourages mingled. Celebrities and regular guests alike were in great spirits as they moved through the party socializing (Stars and Mortals consorting... a rarity in Hollywood).



We ran into Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl), James Kyson Lee (Ando from Heroes), Billy (True Beauty), Apl.de.ap (Black Eyed Peas), and Joey Fatone (host of the live Red Carpet at the Academy Awards). Most celebrities are much more approachable then we give them credit for.



Thank God for vodka redbulls (a.k.a. liquid courage). We would have otherwise missed out on meeting all these interesting people that happen to be famous.  Joey Fatone was totally partying it up and I just had to ask his manager, "Doesn't he have to be on live TV all day tomorrow!?"  Reply: "Ya, he'll be fine, he'll just sit in a steam room in the morning."  I've gotta try that out next time I'm out partying too late and have to be somewhere in the next day.
