Exclusive Interview with Crank 2' s Efren Ramirez--Yup, He's Back!

Well, not to ruin it for those who didn't see the first one, but Efren's character Kaylo died in the original Crank film. In the sequel, Crank: High Voltage, he doesn't come back from the dead (though, it wouldn't be a stretch in this movie), but instead plays Venus, Kaylo's non-tranny twin brother.
Watch Part 1 to see what he has to tell us about his new character and working with his costars, the "intense" Jason Statham and "out there" Bai Ling.

Watch Part 2 to find out how playing Pedro effected his acting career.

Well, he's gone a long way from Pedro in Napoleon Dynamite. Efren's got a long list of job titles that surprised us--actor, author, deejay, motivational speaker, not to mention, he's a black belt. He invited us over his Los Angeles home for an interview before the release of the sequel, but I also got a brief spin lesson on his turntables.

We kinda had a moment...

Then came the karate lesson...
