I know these type of movie are cheesy but I love them. They are such feel good movies that make you want to just start dancing and singing.
Fame is an updated version of the hit 1980 film which follows NYC talent attending the New York City High School for the Performing Arts, (Known today as Fiorello H. Laguardia H.S.) students get specialized training that often leads to success as dancers, actors, singers, etc.
The movie stars Naturi Naughton, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle (Camp Rock), Kelsey Grammer, Kay Panabaker (Summerland), Megan Mullally, Bebe Neuwirth (How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days), Charles Dutton, Kherington Payne (So You Think You Can Dance), Debbie Allen, Walter Perez, Paul McGill, Paul Iacono, Asher Book, and Collins Pennie. A lot of new faces.

Hollywood needs to stop with the movie remakes. The originals are better 99% of the time.

I kind of want to see this just because Bebe Neuwirth and Kelsey Grammer are in it. Lilith and Frasier reunited!
