'High School Musical 4' In The Making
Yeah. Me too. I thought this High School Musical franchise was finally over with the third. Nope. This time Jeffrey Hornaday, not Kenny Ortega, will be bringing us back to East High.Hornaday said, “I’m excited to be part of a franchise that, thematically, encourages kids to believe in themselves. Like the first three movies, my goal is to keep the art form of the traditional musical alive, yet bring a contemporary emotional response to the story and its characters through song and dance.”
Hopefully Hornaday knows what he's doing. He has choreographed for Flashdance and A Chorus Line and directed Madonna and the Backstreet Boys world concert tours.
In High School Musical 4, East meets West in a classic love triangle set against the cross-town school rivalry between the East High Wildcats and West High Knights.
I don't even want to imagine what kids they are going to find to play in this movie. It is not clear if any of the old cast members will be making an appearance. This movie can either be a flop or something crazy if they get the right super talented kids. Good luck with this round of HSM.
